Saturday morning “Reveille” is at 7:20 a.m. There are no restroom facilities on the submarine, so anyone needing to use the facilities will need to have a buddy (an adult leader or overnight guide) accompany him/her to the museum facilities. We will spend the night in bunks in one of the four areas of the submarine as designated for us by our guides. The submarine is heated/air-conditioned, but scouts should wear layers. There may be an optional “Nook and Cranny” tour after that time for those who wish to stay up later and learn more about the sub. ![]() Aboard the submarine, our guides will provide educational activities as well as supervised access to some non-public areas of the submarine during the “Hands on Tour” which runs from about 8:10-10:30 p.m. We will stop to eat dinner at a restaurant prior to the submarine campout program which begins Friday night at 7:30 p.m. We will be participating in the Wisconsin Maritime Museum’s USS Cobia Overnight Education Program which offers the opportunity to explore and sleep on a restored World War II submarine moored on the shores of Lake Michigan as well as admission to the museum the following morning and an event patch.
